Delete Your Account

Last updated: 27 July 2026

You can delete your Stylogram account and personal data at any time, from inside the app or by writing to us. This page explains how to do it, exactly what gets deleted, and what stays.

1. Delete it yourself, in the app

This is the fastest route and it completes immediately — there is no request queue and nothing to wait for.

  • Open Stylogram on Android, iOS or the web at stylogram.app and sign in.
  • Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner.
  • Choose “Delete my account”.
  • Type DELETE to confirm, then tap “Delete my account”.

Your account and personal data are removed straight away and you are signed out on that device.

2. If you can’t sign in

Email support@stylogram.app from the address on the account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We may ask you to confirm one detail to verify it is your account before we act. We complete verified requests within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

3. What gets deleted

  • Your account record — name, email address, profile photo, phone number and role.
  • Your sign-in identity, so the account cannot be signed back into with Google, Apple or email.
  • Every review and rating you have written, removed from the artists you rated and from their rating averages.
  • Any artist profile you created that was never published (drafts and profiles awaiting review), including its photos.
  • Any listing-claim request you submitted, including the phone number and verification evidence attached to it.

4. What stays, and why

If you claimed an artist listing that is published in the directory, the listing itself remains — but it is unlinked from you, and loses its verified badge and its connection to your account. Published listings are built from public business information (business name, locality and business contact details) and existed independently of your account, so deleting your account does not remove the business from the directory.

If you also want that listing taken down, email support@stylogram.app and say which listing — we will remove it once we have confirmed you are entitled to ask.

  • The anonymous device identifier behind the guest search allowance is not tied to your account and expires on its own within 30 days.
  • Records we are required to keep to meet a legal obligation or to resolve a dispute are retained for as long as the law requires.
  • Residual copies in encrypted backups are cleared within 30 days.

5. This cannot be undone

Deletion is permanent. There is no recovery window and we cannot restore reviews, drafts or a claimed profile afterwards. You are welcome to create a new account at any time, but it will start empty. If you only want to stop being contacted, or to correct something, write to us instead — you do not have to delete your account to do either.
